In addition to
the Sila Lydia BAST BELL MUSEUM, we also include
admission to the Germantown Volunteer First Company Museum with its
1929 Seagrave Fire Engine and other exhibits, a walking tour map of the
Historic District with a stop at the WWI Memorial to Germantown
soldiers who served in the conflict, all located in our 9.5 acre park. The Valentine
WOLF HAUS Museum & Research Center is in the restored 1854
German fachwerk (half-timbered) residence/shoemaker shop constructed
from logs cut on the property. In this house where they began their new
life in America they raised their 12 children. All these original
buildings are located on a 6 corner intersection called Dheinsville
District. View Larger Map If you are looking for overnight accomodations: View Larger Map |
